Why We Exist

Housing is a human right, but all too often, tenants feel isolated when facing unfair rent hikes, neglected repairs, or complex legal disputes. Our association was founded on the principle that we are stronger together. By organizing neighbors and fostering open communication between tenants and the community, we aim to ensure that no one has to stand alone.

"Being a part of the Allentown Tenant Association means I never have to face a housing dispute alone. Having a collective voice at City Hall has made a visible difference in our neighborhood’s stability."

Juanita Moran

"I didn't realize my landlord was responsible for specific repairs until I attended one of the Association’s workshops. Their 'Know Your Rights' guide is a lifesaver for anyone renting in Allentown. Knowledge really is power!"

Kason Espinosa

"I felt completely overwhelmed when my building was sold to a new developer. The Allentown Tenant Association gave me the resources and the courage to organize with my neighbors. We didn't just save our homes; we built a community."
